RadKunstWurf – Exhibition Opening

For the fourth time, works of art will be distributed to residents and visitors to the city of Dresden from a critical mass.

For RadKunstWurf, submitted contributions are first exhibited in a traveling exhibition on a cargo bike and later distributed to a random audience from a critical mass in the form of art rolls.

Now comes the fourth distribution campaign as part of this year’s LackStreicheKleber – Urban Art Festival Dresden. Under the motto “40 years of Urban Art in Dresden”, local and international artists were invited to submit works. Four works received awarded prizes by a jury of experts, and during the exhibition opening on Tuesday, June 4, the audience prize will be awarded to another work.

Students from Tu-Dresden are also taking part in the campaign.

The exhibition will open on June 4 in the courtyard of the Groove Station at 3 pm, the audience prize is given at 5 pm.

The exhibition can also be seen on June 5 on the Elbe cycle path near the Blaues Wunder, on June 6 at Alexander-Puschkin-Platz and on June 7 near the City Museum on Pirnaischer Platz.

On June 7 between 3 and 5 p.m., the works will be distributed throughout the city from the bicycle parade.

Anyone who would like to take part in the art campaign can come to the Zentralwerk on June 7 at 2 pm on their own bike and ride along in the parade.
