Mural by Collettivo FX at Klotzsche train station

As part of this year’s LackStreicheKleber – Urban Art Festival Dresden, a new mural by the Italian artist collective “Collettivo FX” is being created on the little bridge house at Klotzsche station.

The mural will be the third urban art work at Klotzsche station. 

Jens Besser’s first mural at the station was the “Santa Interregia” on the new gable wall in 2021. The “Santa Interregia” is the patron saint of all train travelers invented by Jens Besser. This includes both local and long-distance travelers as well as the old and new hobos of freight train traffic. 

The railway-side work “Girlitz” by Robert Richter was realized in 2023. The work depicts a European Serin in the middle, holding a conductor’s whistle in its beak. The European Serin is the smallest European species in the finch family and is mainly found in continental Europe.
