Opening-MANTISSA

On April 1st, 2022 the international urban art exhibition MANTISSSA will open in Dresden Klotzsche. The exhibition shows murals by international artists, bicycle art projects and the LSK Artothek on three floors. There will be musical accompaniment, patisserie and drinks at the vernissage.

The concept of the LackStstreicheKleber Artothek is presented for the first time on the top floor. The Artothek is based on numerous works by local and international artists, which are made available to the association for the Artothek, and works from Jens Besser’s collection.

European bicycle art projects are presented on the middle floor. These include the projects VeloGetArte, La Vendita di Dresda by Cargobike and RadKunstWurf. The floor is supplemented by murals by Collettivo FX (Reggio Emilia/IT) and Jens Besser (Dresden/DE).

Large-format murals by international and local urban artists are located on the lowest floor, in the staircase and on the top floor. The focus is on abstract murals. Participating artists are Artourette (Dresden/DE), Awer (Bari/IT – Berlin/DE), Sandro Berneis (Dresden/DE), Iaroslav Kusch (Lviv/UA – Berlin/DE), Lisa Legain (Dresden/DE), Jana Mertens (Leipzig/DE), Johannes Mundinger (Berlin/DE), Murals of The Future (Leipzig/DE & Dresden/DE), Anders Reventlov (Malmö/SE) and THWRB3AT (Rouen/FR -Trier/DE).

Since the building may only be entered with an escort, during the exhibition period on April 2nd, April 3rd, April 9th ​​and April 9th. and 10.4. Guided tours take place at 10.30 a.m., 1.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. The guided tours are carried out on a donation basis.
